- Feb 20th - CIWG 2010 kick off meeting - Bloomington Library @ 9:30AM. Dr. Given Harper from Illinois Wesleyan will speak about backyard bird habitat.
- March
- March 6th - McLean County Master Garders: Home, Lawn and Garden Day
- March 13th - CIWG Meeting - Bloomington Library @ 9:30AM. The Ecology Action Center will present on their "Yard Certifications"
- April
- April 10th - CIWG Meeting - Bloomington Library @ 9:30AM: Show-n-Tell. Bring pictures of your water features and/or questions for the club to ponder.
- April 17th - Casey's Garden Shop - Garden Club Day: CIWG members receive 20% off pond supplies, fish and all garden & gift items
- April 24-25th - Growing Grounds Open House: 8AM-6PM
- May
- May 8th - CIWG Meeting - Frieda of Passion for Ponds will talk to us about Koi fish. She will discuss how to pick a fish when purchasing, health issues, types of koi, fish food, etc.
- May 22nd - Casey's Garden Shop - Water Garden Open House
- June
- June 12th - CIWG Meeting - Kathy Bligh's backyard - 1310 W. Market. Business meeting.
- June 18th/19th - Glorious Garden Festival's 14th Annual Garden Walk Tickets the weekend of the event cost $15 for adults and $7 for children.
- June 27th - The Ecology Action Center Yard Smart Walk The event is free and open to the public. If you are interested in joining the tour, please call the Ecology Action Center at 309-454-3169 to reserve your spot.
- July
- July 1st - CIWG Meeting - Ed Hernandez from Twin City Bonsai will demonstrate how to sculpt trees. This meeting will be in Kathy Bligh's backyard - 1310 W. Market. Ed will sculpt her maple trees into looking like Bonsai trees.
- July 9th - July 11th: The Midwest Pond and Koi Society 18th Annual Koi & Goldfish Show - Darian Sportsplex
- July 10th @ 4:00 PM - CIWG Meeting - Saturday evening potluck social at Ron and Jessica Wolfgang's - 1706 Ebel in Normal.
